What's your posted speed limits? In MT, they are 70/75 depending whether they are interstate freeway or rural highways. I get better mpg's going 60-65 than 70-75. Most RV's and trucks with campers run 60-65 miles per hour. Also, what is the profile of your toyhauler? Is it alot taller than...
03 Honda Rubicon. It could use more power for plowing snow and hauling loads on hills. I have maxed out the power at times. Great reliable machine though.
How many 2X's are you guys talking about? stacking them 2 or 3 high?
Thanks for the good ideas. I wish I had the air bags. That sounds like that would be the easiest.
Welcome to DTR! Oh, there are alot more you will soon recognize here. There are alot of faces from the DP here already. There is even a DP Refugee section! They are coming over here in droves!
I really like my 5er because the darn thing will turn as sharp as your truck will. The cool thing is you can almost be 90 degrees to your camper. You have to be careful though. It is good for parking in tight spaces. I have a tight driveway to turn around in. I would never get a bumper pull...
Who has good tricks or ideas for leveling your campers side to side? I have no problem with front to back. We end up camping on uneven areas with my 5er and I haven't come up with good ways to level it side to side. I can get it level side to side but then I have trouble getting the camper...
I have a 22 foot NASH 5th Wheel. I can't wait to pull it with the diesel instead of the gasser I used to have. It's nice to see a place for those of us that have RV's/campers.:yesnod:
Hey Kyle! Glad to see you made over from the DP! I was hoping that you would find your way over here. I appreciated all your help over on the DP. :biggrin5:
Ya, why didn't somebody just provide a link to this site. Oh ya, that was against the rules at DP. They are coming in droves. I'm seeing all the old faces from the DP. Just like home again.
