Is there any reason to run two different temp thermostats (180/195) in a dual housing? A little warmer than 180 but cooler than 195? Just curious as the previous owner of my truck I believe removed both thermostats as it ran cool in summer, and now in winter it barely warms up and threw a p0126...
Wasn't there a thread here a few months ago where someone explained how to re-use the stock oil cooler? I think that was even the thread title.
It kinda confused me tho; wasn't sure if he re-tapped the fitting on the oil cooler, or did he just use an adapter? I don't think he had any leaking...
Yeah I gutted the FSS and changed fuel filters and it's still doing it. Only when temps drop to freezing, and only first thing in the morning. If temps are 6-10c it won't do it.

Hmmm, well preliminary results say that the FSS/ESO is NOT my problem. Initial start was rough, and I assume that was from a little air getting in from removing the FSS/ESO. After a little cranking she fired up, ran for a bit(20-30sec), then started to bog down and die just like she does on all...
Thank you....now any idea how to properly remove the plunger from the solenoid? I've pushed it in and out many times and it feels smooth and can't see where it would stick. But since I have it out I might as well take the plunger off and see if that helps with my issue.

Is it as simple as disconnecting the wiring, then putting a socket on the raised hex part and unscrewing it? Install same as reverse? Any thread sealant? Torque values?
