    Where are you located ? Wondering how close one can weld near the gas tank (bed is off the frame). Do you use a asbestos blanket or something ??

    Getting the left side spring to sit down on the axle gave me fits ! "The peg in the round hole". I never realized how much the axle could move.

    Weather didn't coop for pix today, but I managed to get the rear axle to finally align. Anyone who might have watched me would have laughed ! Do I lift the axle to get the leaf springs to lower ? Funny. 67 years old and I am still learning.
