Just got back from our yearly trip week long trip to lopez lake in california. Going to el capitan beach for labor day weekend. Then yosemite in october for a few days. We are fortunate to be able to do this in this economy. Jerry.
A few things to keep in mind with the '09....
1 - They are NOT prgrammer friendly. They have a code in the ECM that detects non-factory tuning and will disable the ECM if it detects aftermarket programmers or boxes. What I mean by disable is it KILLS the ECM, requiring a new one that WILL NOT...
OK, I just installed the night breakers. Much better than stock, but I kind of think the silverstar ultras were a little brighter. I am wondering about the light harness, and if that would help enough to justify putting one in. My question is is it the same as what you use for hids? Or is it...
I just read Saratoga's thread "on my way to work", and it reminded me a while back when I was about 18. I had an 83 Z-28 and was cruising around with a buddy when we pulled up to a light. Another car pulls up and starts to rev his motor. It was about 11:00 at night, so not many cars around...
Thanks guys for the replies. I am going to try the night breakers if I can find them. Did a search, but not much came up. I just hope these last a little longer than my silverstar ultras did. I agree 100% about the hid's. I finally put them on my truck and will never go back. I would do it...
I have a 2000 civic for commuting, and most is driving in the dark. I have tried the silverstar ultras, and so far they are the brightest, but don't last long. I just put a set of GE nighthawks in, and I don't care for the light output. HID's are not an option as I would have to get...
I posted this on another site, and hopefully it helps you out this weekend. Jerry

I personally do not like test lights, as they won't protect the circuit like a multimeter will. Anyway, if you can, try to find a multimeter, and then find a good ground under the dash, and then probe each slot on the back of the connector when it is hooked up to the light button. That way...
You could call the dealership and give them your vin #. I just called for mine and mine is 117.5 inches. 105 alt w/ no vac pump. California model. Jerry.
That looks awesome!! In my opinion there are only a few paint colors that look good with black wheels. And red is definitely one of them. Just looks tough. Jerry.
Thats a good question. My neighbors car is the same way. I would think there is no way because the housing is sealed except for the hole for the bulb. But if someone knows of a way, let us know. Jerry.
