I finally found the time to install my turbo and down pipe, meanwhile i changed all the original and replaced the cooling hoses while I had the inner fender off and took off the vacumn pump.My question is it runs like 10 men on steroids no black smoke and 20 miles a gallon if I don't get crazy...
I finally bit the bullet and am upgrading the turbo ,but was wondering where is the best place for the k47 filter housing normal mount or where the battery was and I do have a vacuum eliminator and if where the battery was what do you do for air intake ......................also if at normal...
I have a 98 gmc 6.5 diesel and it has a maf sensor can anyone tell me what it is for since I thought diesels don't need one and what would happen if you had sensor fault thanks
and ity will set a code stock with a bad maf I don,t know if it just defuels the engine or what it does but the fault will turn the light on ,mine kept telling me the egr had no flow
he has a fuel line that runs from the filter to the distributeur that enlarges the line to 3/8 of an inch instead of a 1/4 and allows it to have more fuel
from what I understand they can prg it to be leaner I would guess , not quite sure but he said they could compensate ,I would think not give it has much fuel or adjust the fuel map
