Motor Trend or not, Hyundai has come a long way from the Scoupe. And the warranty, 10 year-100k..... well at least the company is willing to back their product.
At that price, I'd at least go and look at it. If I was serious, I'd ask to take it down and have the balance rates checked. Might cost you a buck or two, but it would certainly be peace of mind.

I've tried motor kote, with relatively disappointing results. Actually, no observed results whatsoever on fuel mileage. I am not sure where it fits in with Wrecker's classifications of modifiers. My guess would be #2, but that would only be because it's not thick like those in the #1 category...
