    4l80e replacement

    Update on the switch. Yes they will interchange. You need to switch the neutral safety switch to the new style. Also there will be no top bolt to install and the 3rd.bolt from the bottom on the left side will not go in, misses by 1/2 a hole. Also didn't need to do any programming. Everything...

    4l80e replacement

    I have a 2009 express 2500 with a 4.8 and a 4l80e. Over the weekend we lost overdrive and reverse. My question is can I use a 4l80e from a 1999 express 2500 with a 5.7 and a 4l80e in my 2009? I have both complete vehicles so I should have everything needed but not sure about the electronics. Thanks
