I have a set of aluminum running from my old gasser, there is some corrosion on the part that bolts to the body.
Are they still OK to install or will it promote rust on the truck?
There is also a rust mark on the boards, any ideas on cleaning it off?
Thanks
Appears to be two fuses for the rear window defog...one under the hood labeled RR-DEFOG it's a mini 30A and the second is HTR-AC 25A fuse (fuse 12) in the cab.
Quint,
Is that all one needs to order is the cable, does it come the "interface" to go from ODBII to serial or USB?
The software looks very interesting.
Thanks
Update
It was warm enough to work on the truck today (about 0 C).
Changed the PMD today to one mounted on a heatsink (FSD).
The truck started right away!
Thanks for the advice. http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/images/smilies/smile5.gif
Can the PMD just quit or is it more likely to be flaky before a failure?
It was very cold here when the truck was started and left 5minutes to warm up and stalled, seemed possible that the fuel gelled (that cold) since then the temp has come up and close to freezing and it just turns over...
Thanks.
I did find one set for a different set of boards, probably close enough.
Haven't found anything for the lighted Lund visor, it's like a secret, don't want to mess up truck guessing.
Have the same problem, replaced the ign. switch (AC Delco) and installed a new FSD at the bumper.
Ohm-ed the important wires (power and grounds) to the PCM.
Finally pulled the PCM and re flowed every connection on the circuit board for the connectors.
Still testing.
Lets know how it works out.
For the blower on high and the fuel gauge check the ground on the engine, right rear head.
Heater / AC control ground is by the behind left side of I/P (Instrument Panel).
There is a relay behind the glove box next to the PCM that is used for blower high as mentioned above, there was an...
