I had the turbo off once and ran the serial #, apparently its a borg warner gm8 (but I agree its not like any other gm8) the exhaust housing and air housing seems larger than stock.
As for the drilled air box... I did that my self and really noticed a dif...

I havent yet unpluged the actuator but I did lift the front wheels and switched the hubs (as it were) on and off and everything worked smoothly (no weird sounds or binding)
