I cleared the codes... when i tired to rescan for new codes none showed up so im not sure if the old codes were an indication or not... When i did have it running, it SEEMED to idle smooth, put when i put it to the floor on the road it would hit around 2500RPM max and then go into limp mode...

I did clear the codes.. when i finally got it running for a short time, no codes appeared so im not sure if those old codes are a good indication or not

Would you be leaning towards injection pump?

It actually is throwing a few codes now I'm not sure if some are old and unrelated but here are the codes: P0089 P0101 P0621 P0700 P1093 U1800 U2104 U2106 U2105. It seems potentially to be my injection pump. What do you guys figure?

I replaced the fuel line from my sending unit like i said... but there is no issue in priming from the tank to the filter.. its from the filter to the injection pump is where the issue is... possibley injection pump issues?

I got the truck Running... When I had a friend pump on the primer as i turned it over.... the truck barley started but it did, and idled smooth...i took it down the highway and it was in limp mode (wont rev out, defueling)... And it stalled on me when i drove back into the yard...i drove it for...

I have a 2004 duramax that i reciently changed the fuel line that goes from my fuel sending unit to my steel feed line.. I also replaced my fuel filter housing because the truck was loosing prime.. I primed the fuel filter without the bleeder screw in and it filled the filter as it is supposed...

there are no signs of leaking fuel anywhere around the cap.. but the screw was replaced as they broke it taking it out(plastic) so there could be a chance that new screw is leaking air in..... is there a chance that that cap has a hairline crack in it? im not sure how strong that material is

I recently when to GM and had all my fluids and filters changed... Since then (coincidence or not?) my 2004 Duramax had been stalling here and there.. When i first fire it up the odd time it will stall after running for about 15 seconds (twice in 2 weeks) the truck refuses to start until you go...

I recently changed Front Dif Oil in my 2004 Duramax 2500... Spec calls for 80w-90 oil gear oil.. I have herd that 75w-90 is better for the front difs in these trucks because its just a bit thinner and can save the seals inside the Dif. I Changed dif oil in my truck a day or two ago and didnt...

I pulled the seat covers off my driver seat, I changed the heat elements and the situation is the same... I click the buttom to turn the heated seat back on and it will click on for a quick second and you will hear a 'click' from the little computer box underneath the seat and the heat element...

thats also a thought, my trucks a big 8inch lift though so the seat is not in the best of shape to begin with just from jumping in and out so we will see. Maybe ill get lucky and find one Salvaged

my mistake, I was thinking one thing typing another, its actually a "Switzer" turbo... very Similiar to an Hx30
