Engine Died w/o Warning... No Start

It was a little low on coolant, so I topped it off. The codes have been reset, and the low coolant light is not on. I have a clear hose on the return line, and all air bubbles have disappeared. The Airdog is excellent at removing the air from the fuel (I installed it after having major issues...

I checked all of the fuses... all good. My FSO has the plunger removed, so could it still be a factor? Thanks for your help!

Engine Died w/o Warning... No Start

I'm stumped... Burb started up just fine, and then the engine suddenly died after less than ¼ mile of travel (doing 30mph). I still had electrical, and the starter would crank, but it's like there's no fuel getting through. After I towed it home, I ran the DTC's and it gave me the following...

    Stanadyne Pump Model Numbers

Hey guys, can you tell me anything about a Stanadyne IP with the green tag that says: B8 DS4 831-5942 J 13972844 17800114 I'm curious to what vehicle(s) this might work on... i.e. will it work on my 1995 K2500 6.5L Turbo Diesel Suburban?

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

Well, all of my glows were fried, so I've got them replaced with Bosch Duraterm glow plugs. Batteries need to be checked though, b/c now there's not enough juice in them to crank it up.

I have a spare PMD, so I might test that and see if that's the problem.

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

So, for clarification, 1995 and older are obd1, while 1996 and newer are obd2, correct? If so, then a 1995 does NOT have a WTS light, but instead uses the glow plug light?

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

I have a Glow Plug Override Button that I have used for those really cold mornings. When pushed, the Glow Plug Light comes on until I let go, regardless of whether or not the key is on. As I understand it, this completely bypasses the Glow Plug Relay (whether it's good or bad). So if the Glow...

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

I have cleaned/checked all grounds. They are all good. I still am not sure I have ever seen the WTS light... When I turn the key, on the left side of the instrument panel I see the SES light, Service Throttle Soon light, Water In Fuel light, Glow Plug Light, Check Gauges light, Battery symbol...

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

I don't recall ever seeing a "wait to start" light... where is it on the gauge panel? I'll go locate the glow circuit... and check the 30 amp fuse.

Cranking speed seems normal. I don't think it's flooded, b/c I usually wait a good 5 to 10 minutes between cranks... so I can chase rabbits. What glows do you recommend?
