go to your local cummins "heavy dealer"(big truck) and get a service,, go and talk to the tech that is doing it and beat around the bush a minute,, he may very well do a flash for ya' for the cost of a case of beer! no joke.
go with truckie's suggestion, electric or not moisture still gets in there and seizes the shoes to the drum, if it still will not break free try a few hundread feet on dry pavement with your BC turned to max and using the manual slide and keep working it,, then back up and do it again,,still no...
not being a smart ass but what about a manually controlled air-ride system,, probably the same$$ as that hitch but you can sweeten the ride dead-head also??
to the best of your knoledge what direction is it coming from? rear of truck, front,, hitch area(bed) trailer??? more info and we will try to get it for ya'!!
wish i had pics of the last piece of construction equipt. i had behind mine,, it was a case 580 4x4 with extenda-hoe and clamb bucket, on a 38' double tandem goose neck,, needless to say i got a few looks from other truck owners.
have you ever ridden in a 5500 kodiak?? you cannot set your coffee down because it WILL go flying! we have a 05' 5500 4x4 at our other store that trav runs,, does the same as me, and i have driven it, nice truck and all but the last W900 KW with a 60' lowboy and JD 644 loader felt like a caddy'...
i have always had a duramax to drive for the company and would buy one for my personal truck,,, BUT this 550 has yet to let me down!! i haul 22,000lb park models with her and she has yet to bitch! cannot knock that in my book:)
well im sure i probably know who you are,, i drive the big white 550 hauler, i,m sure you have seen it,, and by the way you dont live that far from me!
