    Actually, it looks like a good deal if you know MD Diesels. If I was in the market for something like it I'd probably take the chance at $2500 after I had a knowledgeable diesel mechanic take a look at the engine.

    That's just over 100,000 miles. If it's clean and priced reasonably buy it. You can't go wrong with an LBZ that you already know all the specifics.

    Get some MAF cleaner and do that at the same time. That is very sensitive to being oiled and dirty.

    An oiled K&N? If so, I'd suspect that. Actually the stock filter flows as good as any.
