I moved it to the frame rail, i am going to run one straight to the negative post of the battery and see what that does

I am going to add a ground to the lift pump and clean all the other grounds, it is down in the 40 degree range during the day time now getting to cold to lay in the drive way and mess with it, like I said I know nothing about electrical, not sure what else to do.

UPDATE: I put a new relay in and erased the code PO231, drove it, shut it off and I could hear the pump running a few seconds after shut down, I waited a couple of hours and restarted while I waited for the glow plugs there was no pump noise, the PO231 code is back( low pump circuit), now what...
