    Fuel gauge

Well i picked up my new/old 1996 Dodge 2500 Ram. Fuel gauge was at 1/4 full when picking it up so I bought some diesel conditioner & filled up the tank to the tune of $89 dollars, I took it that is was full. Driving home & waiting for the gauge to reach full, it never did. Hovered near half...

    1996 Dodge 3/4 ton

Talked with the gentleman today. He is the 2nd owner but nows the first owner. He has bought from him before as the both use them on the farm. He says the engine doesn't use any oil & it has been changed regularly. The tranny was done about 100k ago & a shift kit was put in it. The truck...

trip computer & outside temp gauge

Just purchased an '96 2500 Ram with a cummins in it. SLT Laramie. The difference between that & my '95 gasser with the same option SLT Laramie is that the diesel doesn't have the outside air temperature & fuel calculator on the headliner, it is just a pocket for storage. Was it not available...

    DB2 mechanical injection pump settinghs

Done. But since it is 15 years old & the tranny still shifts a little different each time I can guess, not assume that maybe it has flat spots & could use replacing. That I will do tomorrow & see if I get consistency out of the tranny shifting.

    1997 Cummins

I have a 95 dodge 3/4 ton p/u with a 5.7 gasser. Looking at a low km 97 cummins. Do you need the puter to run these? or just for the tranny? Thanks

    DB2 mechanical injection pump settinghs

Any idea what the TPS setting should be for the mechanical pump on the 6.5 N/A diesel?

Well the boat was a 1964 ChrisCraft Connie 34'. Solid mahogany plank. Original twin 327's. They DID sound sweet but needed rebuilding since they were original. Replaced them with 2 Renault 250HP marine turbo diesels. They were Mack blocks marinized by Renault. Straight 6"s. Can't remember...

    DB2 mechanical injection pump settinghs

1995 Chevy 6.5L N/A diesel Blew the alternator yesterday & replaced. The tranny was rebuilt a week ago & hard shifting since. Checking the TPS settings according to what I can find for the 6.2L N/A diesel it was set too low. Having said that & changing it I find another screw on the pump...

Ok how do I set the TPS? Maybe that is why my transmission is shifting hard. Check the alternator tomorrow.

    What is this and where....

I figured it out. It was an add on when the van was new. It was owned by the City. They had a hour meter on it. I think that was wired to a oil pressure shut down relay. that's why it is disconnected. The voltage is high today 18V. It does shift hard especially from first. The tranny has...

    What is this and where....

is it suppose to be connected? 1995 Chevy 1 ton van 6.5L N/A diesel. Went out this morning for a coffee & the truck shifted really weird. The voltmeter showed a constant over charge & the engine mil light flashed on & off. Removing the dog house I found this wire off & following them they...

    RPM Speed

I have a new tach that was for my boat, it was a diesel too. It goes to 4000 rpm. Is this high enough for the 6.5L N/A engine? I think so.
