Wow, this forum has really gone down hill. Every thread is a bunch of blow hards pretending to be engineers arguing with each other and laying out veiled insults.
To the OP, two turbos at the same pressure and air temp will flow different amounts of total air mass. Our engine is only 6.5l when...
Maybe I'm doing something wrong then. I've had a 96 k1500 Sub for about a year. It has 280,000 miles. When I got it I installed new injectors and a DE 4" exhaust. No other mods. My average economy is 19 mpg. My most common fill up is around 20 mpg. I often get 21 or almost 22. I use power...
So if you were a mod, you would delete most of my post which is simply what the Seller is offering to sell to the Buyer for a agreed upon price? This thread is about what was the OP supposed to receive for his payment.
Nice opinion. Don't buy one of there engines then. That's how America...
What a cop-out. Who needs a reality check? The point of Ted's is no junk. Ted basically says "buy from me, I test them, the other vendors on ebay do not. This is not junk". If I want junk I'll take my chances on govliquidation. From Ted's own description:
6.5 GM Turbo
Chevy Diesel Engine...
Is that Severe Duty like the Hayden? I looked at that one first since it was cheaper but the Hayden text about duty and fan to shaft speed % got me to spend another $20. And before anyone chimes in, yes I know severe duty does not change the activation temp.
Does anyone have a list of 6.5 OBDII PIDs? I'm using Torque Scan on Android and thought it supports trans temp, I believe the GM PID is different than the generic one. Also my gauge set is very limited compared to say my work 2008 Sierra which makes me think they made some odd PIDs for the 6.5
There some videos of how to do it on youtube. You'll need the injection pump, and intake manifold gaskets. It may or may not need an injection pump. Could be as simple as needing a FSD/PMD.
