I'm going to purchase a MPGunio gauge for mpg gauge, they are programmable and versatile, BUT they are built for gas engines. They monitor a fuel injector pulse duration ad calculate mpg from that signal and pulses from the speedo system. I'd like to tap into the PMD for this signal. Anyone know...

It really sounded like a "TING"! It sounded like someone was beating on a half inch steel pipe with a small hammer and it was not around the harmonic balancer! Hence why I worried about lowering the compression in my cylinders down to none! Thanks for the replies, I hope it helps someone... BIG...
