    AC compressor bracket bolts

Didn't do anything with them. They fell out...they gone.

    AC compressor bracket bolts

Would anyone happen to know the length of the 3 bolts that attach the engine accessory bracket for the AC compressor to the head? I had all three shear off this morning so I have nothing to match up. I have some in now that got me home but they're all too short. I'd rather have the closest I can...

    OPS relay, worth while?

That would be correct. Right now it's wired to a constant hot circuit, on a switch of course. This week it'll be wired to an actual relay. I've noticed my oil pressure gauge moving with the turn signals lately which got me thinking about the mod.

    OPS relay, worth while?

Is it a worth while mod doing now that my lift pump is on its own circuit? The original cause of the mod was to lift some of the electrial burden off the switch if the lift pump relay failed, correct or am I misunderstanding? It has no direct effect on the ops itself?

    Fuel pressure gauge

I have a mechanical mounted in the cab. Fuel line ran straight off the regulator to the gauge inside and also a smaller one mounted to the regulator (albeit current broken, need a liquid filled one) under the hood.

    Code 13?

Culprit kind of found. Remember the melted fuse i mentioned? Did it again, this time I found it, it was almost too hot to touch. Any ideas? I'm thinking somewhere in the circuit a power wire is grounding out?

    Code 13?

Apparently it was a fuse..kind of. I pulled every fuse in the fuse block and every one checked fine, twice. Put a new ECM in it since everything checked fine according to the diagrams I got and still nothing. After my second post it quit retracting for some reason but still had power up to the...

    Code 13?

Refer to post #1. I pulled the solenoid out placed it where I could see it from the drivers seat, hopped in and turned the key. I physically saw the plunger retract. Plugged in the new PMD, nothing. Pulled the battery cables to reset the computer and still nothing. Pulled the line off cylinder...

    305/70R16 on K2500?

Definitely not body lifted. Here it is with 2"/2.5" lift and essentially 34x12.5s

    305/70R16 on K2500?

I realize the thread is a couple weeks old but I haven't been around in a while and if Snowdrift wants to know someone else will. My Suburban had 305/70s on it when I bought it. Stock wheels, no spacers and as far as I could tell no lift, torsion tweak or other wise. The rear of the front...

    Code 13?

I'm grabbing a PMD from work today and see if that works. Out of morbid curiosity to see what would happen I also unplugged the crank sensor (not at the same time mind you) to see if it would start and that didn't do anything either. That's what I was hoping but I pulled the fuel line off the...

    Code 13?

Saturday I get home from my parents place, about a 25 mile drive and park the 'Burb. Grab a shower and load up to get to a friends house; maybe half hour to 45 minutes after I park. All it does it crank and crank and crank, no hit, not even any smoke out of the tailpipe. Let it sit and tried to...

Ac delco vs Napa harmonic balancer?

As someone who sells Dorman (well, Balkamp; I work for Napa...) I can honestly say that I would opt for a Dorman if in a must have situation. I was kind of in the same situation so I got the Dorman for the Suburban. For now it is a good part. Dorman is good only in that they are usually the...

BUILD Thread '89 Suburban w/ built 6.2L TD - Big Burb -aka The Beast

My God, that thing sounds great at idle. Odd request: can you get a video outside of it just idling? I love that diesel clatter.
