    4L80E tranny

    I got this 2002 gmc 2500 and it leaks tranny fluid and only has low gear???? I was just going to put a new transmission in it but thought I'd ask if there's any chance this is a fixable problem or common thing that I maybe should troubleshoot before spending 1700$????? The guy who had it before...
