thanks....the plan now is to probably address the stereo situation. I was going to go gauges and a pod but honestly I have the car to go fast in so I'm not sure if I'll ever mod the truck too much. I may still do gauges down the road....they're just not a "need" right now like a better sound...
ended up with diamond eye. 4" straight pipe is 4" straight pipe for the most part. $245 shipped so I'm not complaining. Got it installed today. Took me ~3 hours by myself on the floor but probably 2 hours of that was getting the old stuff off. I had issues with my sawzall which slowed me down...
ok, UPS dropped off the exhaust today. It took everything I had to not tear into it right then and swap it out without painting it but I managed to hold off. I threw a couple of quick coats on it tonight and will put it on either tomorrow or Friday. I'm fairly mechanically inclined but is there...
took me a while but I finally did it. 4" straight piped mbrp. Didn't opt for a tip because past experience has shown that mud tires + nice tips= trashed tips before too long. :)
I'm gonna paint it black before putting it on.
I believe Cooper's are made here in Ohio. Not sure if they have the tire you're looking for though. I guess you have to find the silver lining that your family or someone else's family wasn't hurt and your camper wasn't beat up. Sorry to hear about the trouble though. Puts a damper on things for...
that's another thing.....back when I was tent camping I'm not even sure air mattress' had been been invented yet. At least they weren't common. That would make it much more bearable to stay in a tent. When I was doing it the cold hard ground just sucks the life out of you and makes you wake up...
yeah, I wouldn't use water under pressure on it. Even though most plugs are water tight the rubber seals break down over time and if you blast that stuff under pressure and water gets in somewhere it'll be a huge pain to find. Just spray some degreaser and let it sit then rinse it off. Probably...
let me talk to my neighbor. He has tons of old tools and rare stuff that he's collected over the years. He was just telling me a week or two ago about some odd sized sockets he had but I think his were 5/8" drive or something like that. I'll have to ask him again.
I see a lot of vettes at the track not running their potential because either the guys are taking it easy on the car or don't know how to drive it. That being said.....let me behind the wheel of that C6 Z06. :D That's a bad ass car when driven correctly.
I'm running the Kuhmo mud tire on mine....I'll definitely keep an eye on them. I've ran Kuhmo's on every vehicle I've owned the last 10 years or so and never had any issues with them. I've only got about 3k on these so too early to tell much about them other than they've been a good tire so far...
yeah, that's what was kinda making me think door seal but if it's doing it when it's dry out then it almost has to be the drain which would mean it's just water logged the front so bad that it's transferring to the back. Easy to do....get under there with a coat hanger and run it through that drain.
does it do it year round and does it smell like just water or antifreeze? Couple possibilities. Leaking heater core (will smell like anti-freeze), stopped up condensation drain(hose that drops down right in front of passenger firewall), or leaky door seals.
although they're merged xm doesn't get all the nfl games....only a couple each week. With Sirius I'm guaranteed to get the saints games. Thanks for the other info..... sounds like I'll be able to do what I wanted to do.
