Donaldson is the OEM Air Filter manufacturer for the 06 and later. Donaldson fuel and air filters are as close as your favorite Amsoil Dealer!:)

You've a good one here. BLineFilter has the Parker/Racor PFF5544 (3rd Generation) fuel filter for $18.10 each. This is the cheapest I have seen theses. (I understand that Racor makes the OEM filter for GM.)

.
Wow! That's a huge savings. I've only used that filter since day one with my '05 and, in fact, the LLY came from the factory with it. Since then I've always bought them from Greg L. (DP vendor) at $28 a copy.
Up until about mid '05 I believe all of the DMax FF were derivatives of the PFF5544 Racor, but I don't think that's true any more.

I get mine from NAPA (WIX) for around $19 but being an ex NAPA employee for 10 years I still get from my friends there for cost. I am sure if you get a hold of PartsGuy at DP he would cut you a deal.....

Wow thats some bad English....

The Air Filter posts were moved to a new thread. Sorry for the Hi-jack!

New thread in Maintenance is Air Filter Numbers

Fuel - Donaldson
Air - OEM (Donaldson)
Oil - Amsoil Absolute Efficiency
Transmission (spin-on) - Allison

We order our filters from Amsoil. I currently need to change my fuel filter, it has been dinging at me for a thousand miles or so. I will try to get it cut open and post the pics here.

The new AC filters are much higher $ now (don't have the actual price) and I see Greg (lubrication specialist) has the new equivalent Parker/Racor that replaces the PFF5544 at $34 & change. I planned to order 6 next week (free wrench with 6) but damn that's pricey...
I want the wrench because I'm not happy with the SnapOn WIF sensor socket I have.

I just spent some time looking around at prices.
dieselfiltersonline has Delco TP1256 for $16.95 each plus $8.95 shipping for up to 14. More than 14 and shipping is free. Amazon has them for $20.80 each with "free" shipping.

So for 1 or 2, Amazon is cheaper. More than 2 and dieselfiltersonline is cheaper.

ssdieselsupply and blinefilters have about the same deal as dieselfiltersonline, but they're not Delco filters.

I run an AC Delco OF and I picked up a Purelator FF, on the bottom of the FF it says it was made by Standyne, it cost $19.98 at Advance auto.

I know the thread is about Fuel filters and the link is Oil filters, but I figured the comparison was related... (Number of pleats and filtering media)
