WTB: Good GM8 turbo

Hey all,

In search of a good GM8 turbo. Due to the farm economy a ATT is out of the question for the forseeable future, and the one turbo is getting some wear, so I figured I would upgrade slightly over the GM4.

I would prefer a nice OEM unit with low miles that has not been messed with (no wicked wheels, etc) so I know its still in its factory balanced condition.

Let me know what you have and how much.

If you need another I've still got the one I replaced years ago when I changed to ATT. Has a Heath Turbomaster installed.

@packratt, I might. What kind of shape is yours in, and how many miles, shaft play, impeller wear, etc.?

@packratt I would be interested, unfortunately Fellowtraveler's turbo was damaged by the flooding he went through.

It was about 270,000 when I pulled it. I don't know if this was the original or not. I got the truck at around 250,000. I had no problems with it. Just wanted the improved qualities the ATT provided and swapped when the block cracked. It's been setting in the box the ATT came in for the last 7 years as a back up.
