Tropical 6.5er
Hi,
any of you have any idea about white smoke?
A friend recently bought a 1994 2 doors blazer. The truck looks in good condition, though the solenoid bank is a bit "funny" : only one solenoid left, the one to the baro sensor, and the turbo wastegate actuator is connected there :skep:
What's funny is that, according to the boost gauge, the turbo works.
It seems the turbo is working more or less, but I believe not like it should do. Anyways, we will cure the problem by going the Turbo Master route.
At the moment, the problem is that the Blazer is throwing white smoke at the exhaust at low rpms, the engine stumbles at the same time.
No white smoke on start up and idle, nor above 1600~1700 rpms and under acceleration, only when you cruise quietly. It seems that as soon as the turbo engage, the white smoke goes away, and engine run smooth.
I di an injector balance with the GMCTDscan, and the injectors look still healthy enough.
Any idea? White smoke usually tell you that you have unburnt fuel, but what be the cause for that?
