Well the OEM gauge cluster on the ‘94 is worn. At a certain point above 70 mph, the Speedometer just flops over and pegs itself at 85. Go over a sufficient bump and both the tachometer and speedo will flop back to zero and snap back.

How long have these been on the market?
I don’t know. I got an e-mail from Amazon from my headlight search suggesting LED head light and turn signal housings. Opened the link, then noted gauge clusters in the suggested items below the LED headlight housing and off I went shopping like a woman a Nordstroms. I liked the Dakota, but had questions. So I did a more global search for reviews on it. Found more, then did another search and found the full digital LED cluster and that was real interesting for what additional stuff it can do such as egt, boost, trans temp, but not clear that one has the traditional idiot lights and glow plug light.

So I’m in the information gathering phase. Got a lot of other things to do on the truck before I get to doing a gauge cluster, but it’s added to the list.
