This thread is started as a way to keep info clear and concise in checking a part on the 6.5 that you suspect is bad.



6.2/6.5 Glow Plug Controller (AKA Glow plug relay)

Single big heavy red wire terminal - Should have battery voltage on it all the time.

Double big heavy red wire terminal - Will have battery voltage on it when glow plugs are on. This connects directly to the glow plugs.

Pin A - Not connected

Pin B - Will have battery voltage when key is in start position.

Pin C - Will have battery voltage when glow plugs are on.

Pin D - Will have battery voltage when key is in run position.

Pin E - Is connected to ground.
