Saw this in the LLY/LBZ forum so I figured I'd start one for us LB7 guys.op2:

Programmer: Edge Juice / Attitude
Average: 16.5:beer: (driving like me)
Best: 23.4 (DIC showing 25mpg)
Worst: 11 (Towing 24' Enclosed "V" nose car trailer w/ a headwind)

2001 duramax. Bully Dog Tripple Dog and the mods in the sig...

Average 16 around town.

Went on a trip and ran anywhere between 75-85 and got 18.5

The worst we've ever got was like 13 (right after we got the tripple dog )

35s and a six inch don't help. but this is an improvement from my hypertech.

i see this is a LB7 section but my LLY Reg cab gets 24MPG if i run her nice on the open road with EFILive for tuning..
our work truck which is a 06 GMC CC SB 2500 LBZ gets roughly 20MPG as a average on the open road and best yet was 22.5MPG on the interstate with level 5 on the PPE..for the most part it gets 14-16MPG local.

Diablo Sport- Set on Economy

Around town- 13.5-15 (sittin in traffic hurts)
Interstate- 18-19 (75-85)

Last road trip it was stock no tune and I got right around 19.5. (80-85 hard running)

I've always noticed that the LB7 get the best mileage out of the 4 gens.

90 HP tune

18-19 mpg regular driving
22-24 highway driving

I do drive it nice and easy.

I get roughly 20-22 on the highway running 70-72 with a few black outs thrown in. Around town IF I can drive it easy will get me 18-19, drops off to about 16-17 if I got my foot in it alot. Towing seems to drop off to about 12.5-14 no matter how heavy or light the trailer.

I'm new to the Predator on 85. 18.5-19 mpg at 80% highway. Starts to drop off around 70 mph with the AC on. About a 1 mpg increase over stock tune.
