427 is My most favorite BB enjun.
Low deck or tall deck, it does not matter to Me. 👍😹
 
well i finally got to drive it had 1 issue that could have been worse than what was the rubber steering coupler right above the steering box broke turning a corner all is good didnt hit anyone fixed it and drove home
There is a real nice steer shaft setup, without the rag joint, available from Twisted Steel Performance.
My plans are to try and get one for My truck.

Welcome to the Truckstop! I agree with @MrMarty51, other than the BBC 402 in my old '72 Monte Carlo I had 42 years ago back in High School and College, my favorite BBC is the 427. Especially aluminum block ones!
