HI everybody. Saw a link for your site learning about Duramax's. IM in the process of a new truck. I have an 03 silverado quadrasteer. Quadrasteer is awsome, but the 5.3 even with a custom tune isn't cutting it for work. Im a contractor/architect for my familys business and I tow about 6-8k pounds 4 times weekly for 10 min to 2 hour drives. My 03 has become a bit of a maintanence nightmare and is nickle diming me to death. Im not in the slightest bit new to GM and love my NNBS 07 yukon, and 07 corvette convertable (many mods, about 550Hp Rwhp) I figured I have had such good luck with GM so far I should stay that way. Truck Im looking at right now is a 4x4 GMC 2500HD. SLT loaded with everything but a dvd. Its an 09. I belong to forums for the corvette and yukon, but am glad to have finally found a forum for the pickup trucks. I find that people on GMFS and FSC are not real mature.
