Names Oscar live in Idaho! Got a 1994 k2500 6.5 TD! Second pick-up I've owned and first diesel. Wanting to keep it for a long time and really wake it up!

Thanks! Bought truck pretty much stock! Bought s&b filter when i installed the pmd was in the air filter box. Next i bought diamond eye 4 in straight pipe. Figured it needed to stop it from suffocating first. But that's what its got now. Gm-4 turbo. Pretty clean no rust on body as i could see! Don't like that style of dashboard tho!

Welcome to the truckstop. Most of us are GM fans and like the 6.5. But be aware of what it is and your overall goal and needs are. I'd say drive it a while and see how healthy she is and enjoy the truck. Feel her out. See what you like and don't. Then its just where do you want to spend your money. As with any vehicle, its: make a payment, spend & save for maintenance, then repair or replace.

Looks like a good truck. How many miles are on it?

Bought it with 164k its got close to 190k now ! I feel like it sounds pretty healthy but haven't done any test on it or anything. ! Thanks!
