Bought new truck to me a few weeks ago. It a 1997 2500 Silverado, 4x4, Reg cab, 8ft box. Currently I'm just trying to fix/ replace all the worn/ broken parts and neglect that the truck has had. So far I've done Leroy's oil cooler and line set, replaced the brake booster (leaking very bad). Hopefully will be putting 4in DE exhaust on it soon. The PO has the exhaust coming out right under the cab and it sounds horrible. And it needs driver and passenger ball joints for sure. Plus lots of cosmetic things I want to update as well. uploadfromtaptalk1435973340766.jpg

Ball joints are all new now. But as per working on older vehicle's have to do both front bearing as well. Holy crap they were shot. Not sure how they were still rolling. So glad an old work buddy has a lift. Makes me life so much easier.

FYI The torque on the bearings via the 4x4 spindle nut is CRITICAL as it loads the bearing. Using an impact is a quick way to ruin the bearing.

After all the new parts I found a semi decent pair of tires for now and for an alignment. Truck rides down the road so nice now. It's actually is enjoyable to drive. :) few more repairs/ issues to address and then I can start saving for upgrades and fancy things.

This one's for Burning Oil/ Leroy, got my Walbro the other day. Hoping to put it in, in the next week or so. Thanks for the fast shipping and email responses.

I hope all you guys know how nice it is to order that good of a kit for that low of a price.

Ones for my hummer are so ridiculous I have to make my own. I have most the parts, but no time for it.

Enjoy the new "tune"

I never checked a muffler shop but I can imagine what it would cost for them to make one in 4". If it wasn't such a long trip is come help ya make yours. :) I wouldn't think it should be too hard just straight through the hood right? [emoji38] [emoji6]

Believe me I'm so excited for the new "tune", the exhaust is terrible on my truck. It bangs on the floor of the can pretty much non stop and comes right out under the corner of the box and cab.

Straight thru the hood- you have no idea how close I was to that.

I was going to mount my huge cylinder air fired on the roof straight to the turbo, on the roof over drivers head, and run air down the snorkel pipe. Two up pipes together, then inside a matching snorkel on the drivers side. Then exhaust pipe to the back corner of the roof, about 5' behind the turbo.

I told you guys I have some wacky ideas sometimes. I would have had my ATT though instead of gm6 centermount.

Oh yeah!! ^^^
Just got home from my buddies, the exhaust is on and it's awesome. I can actually here my self think in the cab now. Thank you so much Leroy. You're much appreciated with the great products you offer, and the quick customer service. I'm sure you've all heard them before but I'll take a video tomorrow and post it up. :)
