How's it going folks?

Names Rich.

I drive an '06 Ram CTD with a "few" goodies on it.

Here's a few pics of the baby.

Lookin forward to hanging out and helping as I can.

If you have any questions on the truck, the build, what goes where, please feel free to ask, I do all the work myself (minus the tranny).

Welcome to DTR! Looks like you got a real nice set up there. Along with the Duramax, I really like the 5.9L Cummins. Looked at a couple before I bought my Dmax.

Yeah, about the only thing left I can call Cummins on this thing is the block.

The only thing left Dodge is the body.

Everything else, in some way, shape or form has been modified, replaced or rebuilt to what I want it to be.

There is nothing in the entire driveline that is stll sock, except the the gears and axles. Only reason those are still there is because I haven't snapped them yet.

Transmission is a full billet SunCoast unit. Fuel system is a FASS 150 with all the stock lines replaced. Intake is AFE to Aurora Compunds, to SubZero Intercooler, to CFM+ manifold. Injectors are DDP 90's. Headstuds are ARP 12mm. Exhaust manifold is ATS. Exhaust is 5" Magnaflow to black duals. Programming is Smarty stacked with and Edge Hot Juice. Gauges are Dipricol 100 psi boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure and Rail Pressure. Etc., etc., etc.

Way too much time and way too much money. But boy is she a beast.

Here's a little vid from the last time we were at the track. I was trying to get the twins and the programming dialed in, so the best I ran was an 8.112 in the 1/8th. Kept blowing the valves open and over revving. Gotta get the stock springs out and replace those with some 110# Hamilton's to control the boost and turn the RPM's up to 4K.

Here is one before all the REALLY big mods of a volunteered set of tires meeting an end.

The first burnout in the second video, I pulled a dumbazz.....I forgot to plug the Edge back in after I reprogrammed the Smarty and the computer was going nuts....had no idea what was going on.

The second one I fixed that problem.

In the first video, when I launch off th eline the first time, you can hear me back out of it as the valves started to float and I lost a ton of power. 1st and 2nd gear was generating too much boost for the stock springs, but 3rd and 4th was rollin'.

My ET's were 8.1's, 8.2's, 8.3's, but I as tripping the traps at 89 - 91 MPH.

You run the quarter yet or just the 8th?

Haven't had it on th 1/4 yet.

The 1/8th track is only a few miles from my house, so it's convienient.

I gotta get the twins tuned and the valve springs replaced before I put it on the quarter.

Trying to get all my test and tune done before this next season starts so I can do more running for
Money.gif
and less test and tune trying to get it dialed in.

Once all is said and done, I'm expecting low to mid 7's in the 1/8th and high 11's, low 12's in the 1/4.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I know it might be a stretch, but anyone in the West Georgia / East Alabama area that is interested in putting your truck on the track, we have our own class setup now at Phenix City Dragstrip.

It's bracket racing, so you don't have to have 9000 hp to be competitive. As long as you can run consistent, you can win. Stock trucks actually have the best chance because the do the SAME thing EVERY time.

I got my but handed to me becuase I kept breaking out. Couldn't get dialed in for the life of me.

Hate to say it but this looks better than your Mopar :D

Thanks brotha! It's getting there.

Like everyone else's truck, it's NEVER done.

Got a set of 110 lb Maxspool valve springs, titanium retainers, billet pushrods and ARP rockers studs to finish off the top end coming next week.

Then in Feb / March I'll pull the engine, girdle the bottom end, billet connecting rods w/ ARP bolts, coated 16:1 pistons and get it ready for a 75/150 double shot of spray.

Once those are in, I'll pull the DDP 90 injectors and bump up to 150's or 200's.

Then, I need to start keeping spare tranny parts with me when I head to the track.......
