injection pump swap

I think you would be a LOT better off with a manual pump.... there is a lot of info on the swap here and other sites, with a 5 speed, it's easy....
 
I've done it on my 96 auto tranny. On yours its just a matter of swaping parts. IP, lines and throttle pedle. The lines are different from DB2 vs DS4. You'll need to source a throttle cable from a 92-93 as GM does not make it.
If you want cruise control you'll need the bracket on IP and a cruise box off firewall of 92-93.

LMC Still sells them- I have a 93 and replaced the engine a year ago.
