To figure out which engine you have look at the VIN then count left to right 8 digits it will be one of the ones below and then you will know which engine you have.
1= LB701-04
2=LLY 04.5-05 or if its a 2006 truck then its still called an LLY but its an LBZ for the most part.
D=LBZ 06-07
6=LMM 07.5-2010 (New Body Style Trucks)
8=LML 2011
