Hello. I am the proud owner of a 1993 Chevrolet K3500 Crew Cab dually with a 4" lift. Currently it has the 7.4l with the 4L80E but I am looking at doing a complete overhaul and installing the 5.9 cummins with the NV4500 later on when money permits me to do so.
 
Welcome. Start by checking with your dmv and any other regulatory places- many places won’t let you convert gas to diesel.

A few here have done it- sure they will speak up soon.
