Diesel newcomer! Just got a 96 GMC Suburban 2500 with the 6.5. Trying to learn all I can!

Welcome aboard! that's a beauty. I like the color, is that bedliner painted on? I have been pondering that idea for my truck. wanting a durable paint that can take some abuse.

welcome to the forum Dr.
I agree, that burb is a beauty.

A friend over here created his own CC Dodge diesel, before Dodge made a CC.
He then bed linered the entire truck. On the front fenders he had flames too, all shot with different colors of the bed liner.
It is a flat bed on the back.
Its his fire fighting rig. Not sure gallonage on water tank but it is quite big.

I have been undecided on colors to paint mine, torn between army tan or the dark green or the factory metallic beige it has, but now that I see this red I'm thinking 🤔 hmmm.... this looks good!!
