I thought I'd share my DIY location of my receiver. I originally had it mounted on the actual hitch, but due to low ground clearance and my wanting to not worry about clearance, I tore it apart on a construction site.

I then realized I want to get the receiver and my lights in or on the bumpers. For the receiver, I drilled a 2" hole just left of the the indention for the license plate and wired it up. Hardest part was deciding I really wanted to drill a hole in my bumper, but after having to do it on every other vehicle, I got it done.
