6 Speed in a LB7?

There is ways to do it, but your not really gaining that much for the cost. iirc someone here has dont it though so hopefully they chime in and offer there experience.

You can swap a 6 speed in, but it will still be a 5 speed unless you get the SUNCOAST TCM and valve body kit.

The tranny will bolt right in from what i have been told the only thing u change is the harness on the tranny to your 05 harness. I have 2 trannys from an 06 and an 07 I'm gonna toss in my 05 when it really starts limping easily. The 6 speeds from the factory are a bit thougher then the 05s and can handle a bit more power before slipping. As stated above you will only have the 5 speed with out the suncoast TCM and valve body. sure would be nice having a 6 speed but 1600 is a lot for an extra gear is quite a bit of coin lol
