6.5 with hx40 turbo issues

Hi im new to the these forums, I just recently bought a 1998 silverado c2500 from a friend i worked with. My friend bought the truck from a guy who already deleted the vacuum pump and swapped an hx40 turbo on to it. My friend replaced the injection pump and return lines for the injectors. I still have to time the injection pump, buy a new turbo oil drain line, and get an air intake system for it, but i have the code p1656 for the wastegate solenoid control circuit coming up. I'm just trying to figure out what i need to do so I can start driving my truck.

Sounds like you need a tune to get rid of the code now.

Where would i be able to get a tune for it?

Leroy Diesel or Quadstar Tuning would be your best option for a tune. You can get a new turbo oil drain tube from either of those guys to. You can also get Auto Enginuity to time it yourself from Leroy Diesel.

I'm going to buy the drain line @racedaymechanic, also going to by the down pipe from him as well in the spring time
