1982 "red block." With SM465 trans. Ran when pulled. When I got it was told it had around 80k miles on it. Doubt I put even 10k more.
Looking for around $750 obo. Can work out delivery up to 4 or so hours from 74070.

That muncie 4 speed isn’t a 4wd assembly with a xfer case is it? Those kick butt for off road with that low 1st gear.

Manual is better on a stick imo. I will let a couple folks round here know jic. Dang fair price for a runnin red block and a muncie 4. Should go quick.

20180929_131305.jpgI also have the axle from the same truck. 79 C30 with what I believe were in the neighborhood of 3.83 gears.20180929_131318.jpg

Update: make offer.
Can only turn quarter turn. Have pic of glowplugs.
Didn't have a lot of time to mess with it today.
No visual water on dipstick. 20180930_131602.jpg

Yup. Shot some penetrate into each hole.
Had to go back home to pull some 6.0 injectors though.. lol
Could even be in the trans. I might separate them, just to make things easier.

Scrapping engine.
Pulling fuel system, starter, clutch/flywheel, maybe some other stuff.
Speak up if you want/need something.
Have radiator, oil cooler lines, and all that as well.
And a hmmwv IP.

@79jasper FWIW and it's worth something:

1) Vac pump oil pump drive is worth $50 or so on eBay or as a primer tool.
2) Intake manifold may be worth $100 or so esp. if it's non-egr.
3) Glow plug controller may be worth something for restorations. Get all the sensors for the system.
4) T-stat crossover ~$100 or so. Maybe more if it's rare for 82's.
5) IP as a core is worth $25 on up to IP rebuilders.
6) AC belt drive brackets and pulleys have value to 6.2 military rig AC additions...

Other items a search on eBay can establish if it's worth bothering with.

Point of fact I have made back the $200 I paid for the scrap metal 6.2 just from some of the above parts. I still have to list some parts.

Thanks for some ideas.
It's a egr intake.
Is the early tstat crossover.
Gp controller was gutted when I got it.
I reckon I'll hold onto the accessory brackets for a bit.
I didn't think about the vacuum pump drive. Well, I did, just didn't know if it would be worth anything. Lol
I think I may have the IP's and injectors spoken for.
Still beautiful inside.
