Is there such a thing for those of us who are emissions test challenged? :mad2:

I doubt you could fail the emission test with a 6.5.

If its just to show its there cut the I/O off the cat and run a pipe through it, weld it up nice so it looks right. Makes for a nice little muffler or resonator if you make the cuts in the pipe.

Im not sure any restriction like that will work with the ATT, one of its pitfalls for the emissions oriented, and could be more widely discussed.

SSDS has the same thing as that Magnaflow made for the diesel. And its $150, although probably make you pay a lot of shipping. I'm not sure how its high flow though, since it seems to actually have less area. the I/O are 4", but it doesnt get much wider for more air paths through the honeycomb crap.

I have the 6.2 precups in the 6.2 heads. Military surplus emission exempt at that. This will be a challenge as the headlight test from a turned up 6.5 to a turned up 6.2 turbo'd shows me more visible smoke. (Headlights behind me show smoke as well as sunset sunrise. Smoke is visible emissions as used here not a coal train black cloud. The smoke takes light to be able to see well.)

All I have is the snap WOT smoke test, visual, fuel cap test due to the weight of the K2500 being heavy duty emissions. Rollers/dyno type test for lighter.

My ace card is running Biodiesel 99% that reduces smoke and got the 1993 to pass. It was not zero smoke like some other engines have shown with B99.

A WOT snap test, and they expect no smoke? If you want a program that just wont put out nearly as much fuel I can make one you can put in just for emissions testing.

I'll try light foot to go full RPM. They just measure the full governed RPM for smoke after the initial puff...

I need to do this (weld 4" straight into the empty trap) before January 2012. Should I used 4" with flared ends to clamp on existing 4", or should I have bolt on flanges on the ends?
