hopefully someone here is somewhat of a guru when it comes to stock wheels. Hopefully I can ask/explain this question without pictures but can take some later if needed.

The left front wheel on my 07 lbz is different from the other three. The holes in the rims on the other three (and every other 2500 I've been able to lay eyes on) have fairly sharp edges on the bevels around the holes....by sharp, I don't me they will cut you, but "sharp" compared to the left front which the bevels on it are very noticeably "rounded".

I mention this because I've noticed (at different angles) it appears my LF tire/wheel stick out slightly further than the RF. I haven't had the time to stop by a tire shop and have them measure the width of the rims to compare yet.

My thoughts are that the LF is off a 1 ton, which if I understand correctly the 1 ton rims are somewhat wider. The place I bought this truck moves a lot of trucks and they have a huge shop that had tires and wheels laying everywhere so, I'm thinking they got em mixed up....heck, they probably don't know there is a difference.

I haven't really asked a question but I think you can figure it out. :hihi:

Thanks
Smitty

There is only one size made of the PYO's. I'm assuming you have the Aluminum wheels? or the other steel wheels?

3500 does have a wider rim, a wider steel rim. 16x7 vs 16x6.5 IIRC. GM didn't put aluminum wheels on 3500s in GMT-800 series.
