Anyway, everything is 2/0 even to the starter. The cable I made that goes from the Alt. to the fuse/relay junction is 2ga. IIRC it might be 4ga. Factory was 6ga. there. Its been a while since I did mine so I dont remember what I have in materials, plus, prices have gone up a little, I'll have to check on them again. Even making them and installing the cables only took me one evening. BTW, a lot of people ask me why I went with side post connections.....because it looks cleaner and it was cheaper. You could do it either way. top or side.
Improvments I observed were faster starts, less glow plug time, piece of mind, and in my case...smoother idle.
