Started truck and the tach, speedometer, and the shift indicator quit working. Will not shift going down the road. Everything worked fine day before. Any idea's. Checked fuses, disconnected the battery's for a hour. Put a new neutral safety switch in it .Still the same. Changed the ignition switch last year.

Test batteries separately. Take apart and clean grounds no matter what they look like. Specifically the ground on the rear passenger side intake and both battery grounds. Is the alternator working?

Sounds like ignition switch to me. Find the fuse in the fuse panel in the drivers door jamb for trans and see if it is getting power. My bet is you're not. Check the large fuses in the panel under the hood as 2 of them are for the ignition switch, but if all the fuses are good and no power to those items is most likely the ignition switch.
