07 LBZ cold air system

A buddy of mine has an 07 K2500HD 4x4 LBZ, he is debating a cold air intake filter setup. What can you do on these. I saw in Diesel Power AMSOIL is making these now. Or he wants to go with a good filter in the stock box. Thanks Ash

The stock filter is a Donaldson filter and I do have those at competitive prices, I have no other drop in.
