I need to change/upgrade the hard drive in the laptop. current setup is with xp. It's only has a 1.6ghz processor and about 1.5 gigs of ram. Right now space is the biggest issue, it's only got a 20gig hdd in it.
so the big question is, which would be better on the reinstall(larger hdd))...
ok so far I found their either concrete nippers or tile cutters. what I'm trying to figure out is who made them. time line is from 1950's though 70's. that's my best guess.

I need to replace the cord for the laptop due to the replacement one it came with was cheapy made in a alot of ways.
I was looking at the lind. they seem to have a good reputation for durability.
what I'm wondering are they worth the price tag that goes with them? the OE adapter runs about 50...
is there a difference between the standard cab and the crew setup? well other then the extra two:rolleyes5:. are they interchangeable? I've got some severe rust issues and debating to switch it over. I know it was and option just not sure is there are any differences.

I'm trying to charge a 12v nonspillable battery. currently it reads of 1.4V. I know there is a minimum voltage that the charger needs for the safety, but I can't remember what it is.
I know there is a way to charge a extra low battery with a good one hooked up parallel...
I need to reroute the exhaust setup on the truck. getting tired of the rattle of the pipe hitting the cab/firewall or where it goes over the frame. I was thinking of splitting it right after the turbo and running something about 2.5" duals?

the 2 wire plug on the back(red/brown), the red is suposed to be battery voltage with the IGN on? the brown is just for the gauge?
where is the red wire get it's power from...
OK here's the deal. my square filter need to be fixed(leak) and I have the 6.5 setup.
Is there a tee for the drain line or just straight hose?
what size are the mounting bolts?
is there a thread on how to bleed this setup(never had to deal with it before)?
I can't find a model number on it. I know it's around to 20 years mark(type of wire used). it's rate at 12/50A or 6V 135A. it's 120V input. it has a load tester built in. if anybody has info for me that would be great, a manual would be even better:D

Is there any way to get the dual monitors back again? I had the driver for XP(which it what the computer had) but I can't use it. The card only works with the generic driver. I was thinking about getting netflix but the computer screen is useless to watch movies on. I know it works to use...
Ok It's the truck in the sig. ran into a couple of strange issues
1)lost delay and park for wipers.
2)lost back up lights
3)can leave truck in reverse and the engine stays running until you take it out.:eek:
my question is, Do any of the things share a part that eludes me??

now assuming that the calipers clear, is there anything else I've gotta check? the circumfrance is just a hair smaller.
the 15" rims are off an older windstar so the bolt pattern/backspace is not an issue...

Hears the info that I've got so far. It'll start fine when the engine is warm, but it takes 20 mins of screwing around to get it to start when cold(12hrs+downtime). it's also developed a lack of transmission kickdown. don't have the codes read yet.

I'm trying to figure out how to find out what wire does what. I'm looking for the front speaker wires. this is for a 2000 ford windstar. the normal colours don't seem to apply. does anybody have a good way to determine which ones do what.
had a fun day yesterday. I got the nice smoke filling smell of burning plastic. so far I know I've cooked the dimmer control for the head light and heated a spot in the main harness by the firewall. didn't blow any fuses??? anybody got a guess of where to start looking for the short? Does...

oil supply and return?
