I'm tuning this Allison with hptuners,and hate the delay it has for downshifts. I dont know if its hydraulics or electrical. I deleted all tm, and increased line psi via force motor. Upshifts are better,just lags about 10 sec for a kickdown/ passing gear.
This is the cam card from my first cam. It had way more power,and super quick spool up. But had egr from overlap,so it started hard ,and ran off of its own exhaust . Basically it ran horrible untill the turbo spooled.
To get max psi to the tcc clutch, I pluged a hole in the separator plate,and drilled a hole in the valve body. I also replaced the tcc valve spring ,with a softer one.
I home built a HX 35/40 . It has the 54/78 mm 7 blade compressor and 76/64 10 blade turbine in a 18 cm housing . It wont light under 2000 rpms, and so far max boost of 23 psi with waste gate disconnected. So far I'm quiet happy with it,more power under the turbo and lots more 3k and up ...

My next motor I would like to purposely build for top end power,and as many rpms as possible. 5000 rpms at the lowest. Feel free to post any ideas. Is a custom ground cam necessary ? High or low compression ? Would retarding the stock cam help ?
