    TCM and Internal Harness fail.

Out of the blue I had my trans fail big time today. Shifting from neutral to drive and it slammed into gear and sent a message about stability control and park assist faults and was limited to 3rd gear on the way home from town. I read 46 transmission codes set. Called around but the only...

    360K LBZ Balance Rates

So it's st 360,000 now and with the nephew. I'd say these are good balance rates for a 100% original fuel system.

    LML Converter lockup

The Allison 6 speed on my LBZ always locked in 5th and unlocked in 2nd under normal driving conditions. Now, with the LML I'm unsure what those points are. I have heard lock was in 3rd. Seems odd to me. Keep in mind, in my instance, Wherli has changed the trans tune when they did the CP3 conversion.

    Tank Strap

Those of you in the northern rust belt states might want to keep an eye on your tank straps. I found the rear one broken today. Glad I didn't drop the tank on the trip to San Antonio and back 2 weeks ago.

Did some shop cleanup ahead of some new winter projects. Some of my many collections I mix in all around are visible. I thought I'd take a few pictures before I make it a mess again.

Getting set to clean the stack next week install all new hoses and I suppose it's about time to put in a new fan clutch. Is the Hayden 2886 still the best choice?

    Stump surprise

Doing som pasture mowing a few days ago in some tall grasses when I found one of those recent stumps the hard way... Drove right up on it and mashed the pan. Got pretty noisy right away and I shut it down after hearing the reciprocating assembly complaining about the sudden lack of clearance...

    Combining in the modern world...

Took a ride with the neighbor this morning while he took out 40 feet of beans at a swath. Took a couple of videos but I guess they're too big in file size.

    Universal Coolant

About 250 hours ago I changed the coolant in my JD X540 tractor with the 26hp twin Kawasaki. I used some of that Peak brand, "add to any color, 150,000 mile universal" green stuff. I recall Ferman mentioning that I might not like that because it gets petty nasty. Yup... I can't remember ever...
