'03-'07 Silverado/Sierra All On Headlight Mod
Did this mod today (technically yesterday) and it is great. Never used the high beams in my truck due to not being able to see the sides of the road, because I couldn't use the fogs. What tuning are you running?
Yeah BKDespain, that was my question too. I have the same philosophy as you Bud, the clatter in my big tune in the fall had me worried for winter temps, and the driving conditions. What tuning are you running?
EFI tune, but stock tune for the past few weeks and may keep it there for winter. Not sure how tuned trucks like the winter, not sure what I might hurt.- WhitetailAddict

I got the diodes and plan on doing this mod soon. I am not the best at vehicle electrical systems, although I like residential electric.
