    I would agree with Will. No doubt there are many 6.5 running dead out there. It may last a long time.

    Thank you! On another note, after pulling the engine and putting new rings in it, there was no significant increase in compression. so, i have pulled the heads and put a suction cup and vacuum tool on it and, guess what all the valves are leaking. obviously the retard who "rebuilt" my heads...

    I put my gauges in the same place with aluminum diamond tread. It looked pretty good except I didn't like how I had to lean over to see the top of the gauges. I installed an overhead console and I may put them in there. have not decided yet.

    these engines are supposed to have intake and exhaust overlap, correct? are 6.2 and 6.5 cams the same?

    I appreciate everyone's input. So here is some weird stuff. After replacing the timing chain, I noticed the exh valve was closing when the stroke was only about 3/4 complete. I got a wild hair and decided to move the cam. long story short, it runs better now than it ever has.... will see what...
