What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Showed my almost 18 yr old son how to replace the front shocks by making him do it. 😅 I then installed new EBC calipers, brakes, and rotors that I got over a year ago.

Off to Cryogenic processing she goes..

So since good used 6.5 blocks are getting harder to find and the Chinese new blocks are out there, wouldn't it be better to get a Chinese block and machine it how you need it and then have it hardened?

I have been thinking, the cranks are already hardened aren't they? Are you having that done also? Are you having the cam and rod bearings done as well? If so won't that make the cam bearings brittle? I am picturing them breaking when installing.

Here is CALIUNICORNIA there are no safty checks just emission checks. You can be driving a rust bucket on it last legs but as long as it passes the emissions you are good.

That is the part I pulled out of the 95 and replaced in the suburban. I'll order a new one and see if it fixes the problem.

    Turn signal not working properly

So you think it could be in the tow wiring? That is easy to check for open wires or anomalies visually. If there is nothing plugged into the tow wiring how can it cause a problem with the regular wiring?

Where is the blower switch located and what does it look like. I just tried to pull it up on rockauto and it brings up a lot of switches but not a blower switch.

    Turn signal not working properly

My Rear right hand turn signal (on my suburban)works fine with the lights off however with the lights on, it blinks fast at the front and rear. I noticed that the top tail light doesn't light up when the lights are one while the left side both top and bottom light up. I took the working light...

The little black connector that I took off the back of the fan controller is the same part and has all the same pins. Is that the blower switch that you are referring to?
